Improvement of the Air Quality in the Arve-Valley (France)

The Air Quality Monitoring Organism “ATMO Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes” just published a survey according which the air quality significantly improved in the Arve-Tal in 2017. The results show that the air quality was excellent 58% of the year, mixed 36% of the time and bad to really bad 6% of the time. Moreover, the pollutant levels remained below the values set by the European Union. The vice-president of the “Communauté de communes Pays du Mont-Blanc” (community of communes of the Mont-Blanc region) underlines that the actions initiated a few years ago to fight against air pollution start to be efficient.
