Former Minister Ramsauer reproaches the German Environmental Office for interfering into subjects that are out of their competition

During an interview with the German radio station Deutschlandfunk, Peter Ramsauer, former Minister of traffic, construction and urban planning, said that statements from the National Environmental Office (UBA) would often be far away from the truth, as he knows from his times as a minister. Already during his period of office, the UBA was interfering into things out of their concern. Also, Ramsauer said that they were regularly calculating false numbers as these experts had a strong ideology for the environment and their resultants would often differ from their colleague’s in the automotive industry.
