After weeks of drought and heat, more than 240 individual fires devastated the Canadian west coast. About 14.000 people left their homes during the last days. But real security is an illusion in the region, as inhabitants are now warned of the air pollution caused by the continuous smoke. Sore throats, cough, headaches and difficulties in breathing are frequent symptoms of the moment. That’s why outdoor activities are not recommended until the air quality normalises.
