Urban toll in Paris?

Since 2003, London drivers have to pay a tax of 12.90€ to be allowed to drive in the city, from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6pm. A comparable system exists in Milan and Stockholm too; and could be incorporated into the future mobility law in Paris. Meanwhile, the mayor of French capital refuses currently this measure, which would penalise drivers living in the suburbs, but has commissioned a study by the end of the year. The system could possibly finance free transports.
