WHO calls for compliance with the Paris Agreement

This week, the annual climate conference (COP-24) began in Katowice, Poland. This is an opportunity for the WHO to emphasize that climate is not only a long-term problem. Respecting the Paris Agreement would help to tackle air pollution and save millions of lives by 2050. In addition, just as for climate change, the cost of inaction is higher than the cost of taking actions to fight air pollution.
