The city centre of Paris will be mainly pedestrian for

The mayor of Paris plans to close the four districts of the historic centre of Paris on the right bank of the river Seine to cars in the a future legislative period. Only a few electric vehicles would then be allowed to enter this zone. This decision "goes in the direction of history", according to the city, and is in line with the pedestrian precinct on the banks of the river, which has been finally confirmed by the administrative court, but it is also already causing criticism from road transport companies.
