Airparif, a French organisation in charge of monitoring the air quality in the Parisian region, announced a pollution peak on Thursday, 16th, November. Due to adverse weather conditions indeed, pollution clouds are stagnating over the French capital city. On the 1st day of such an episode, the role of Airparif is to inform the population. However, the organisation highlights the necessity to protect the vulnerable people (asthmatic, children, elderly, pregnant women…). Furthermore, Parisians are encouraged to reduce their individual emissions (preferring public transports, and avoiding to overheat the inner spaces for instance).
