United Kingdom: phase-out of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles

The government has presented its "Road To Zero" plan, which prohibits the sale of new diesel and gasoline vehicles by 2040. By 2030, all vehicles launched on the market must be equipped with systems that drastically reduce emissions, and 50-70% of them should be "emission-free" vehicles. The challenge is great, as electric cars, electric hybrids or hydrogen cars currently represent only 2.2% of the market.
