The British government presents its plan for air quality

The British government has presented its plan for the improvement of air quality in the UK. The fight against nitrogen oxides is a priority for the British people, for it is the only hazardous substance that exceeds the emission limits established by the law. The government proposes, for example, to introduce tolls in London, to offer bonuses for the purchase of electric vehicles and to equip cabs with catalysators. For this purpose, the government has also started a citizen consultation so that both citizens and local administrations may propose innovative ideas for a new law of the air until June.
