The color of the Crit’Air vignette is decided by the EURO norm, which is indicated in the papers of the vehicle. If the EURO norm is not indicated, then the date of the vehicle’s registration will be taken as a reference.

The European Emission Standards
The European emission standards “Euro” are definitions of the European Union which determine the maximum limit of pollutant emissions from vehicles. These norms use to get stronger and stronger for new vehicles. The aim is the reduction of air pollutants in the EU.
On the left you will find the present and future European emission standards for vehicles and their first registration date.
Indication about the classification of motor homes
Motor homes with a total weight up to 3, 5 tons are classified as cars.
Motor homes with a total weight of 3,5 tons or more are classified as trucks.
