More than 42,000 deaths per year due to fine dust

Also many other health disorders are associated among others with fine dusts. These cause generally an increase of early deaths, caused by heart and pulmonary diseases. Fine dusts are the reason for more than 42,000 early deaths each year in France.

According to a new “quantitative health impact assessment” of the French national boards for health care, the air pollution is responsible for the death of 2 441 people every year. Additionally 4166 more cases of death are caused by air pollution in the Paris suburbs.
