This is how you order a Crit’Air vignette for vehicles that are not registered in France
Orders for all vehicles that are not registered in France
Vehicles that are not registered in France, i.e. vehicles of tourists and other commercial traffic from the EU, must have acquired a Crit’Air vignette as of April 1, 2017, in order to access and drive through a French ZCR or ZPA environmental zones.
The necessary data for an order of a Crit’Air vignette for vehicles that are not registered in France
If you want to order a Crit’Air vignette, we will need the following information from you: first name, family name, street, house number, postal code, location and country. In addition, we will need your VIN number (vehicle identification number) as well as your email address, the plate number of the vehicle, the date of first registration and the type of vehicle (car, truck, commercial vehicle, bus, motorcycle, light vehicle).
Please scan your vehicle’s registration certificate and send it to us with maximum 10 MB size.
Vehicles for which a Crit'Air Vignette will not be available
Please observe on indication of your vehicle's approval date and car type that older cars normally cannot obtain a Crit'Air Vignette.
For this reason you cannot order a Crit'Air Vignette for the following car types and approval data:
- No order possible for passenger cars having been registered before 1st January 1997.
- No order possible for commercial cars < 3.5 tons having been registered before 1st October 1997.
- No order possible for motorized two, three, and light four wheelers having been registered before 1st June 2000.
- No order possible for trucks and buses having been registered before 1st October 2001.
If you nonetheless place an order by indicating wrong or incorrect data, a delivery of the Crit'Air Vignette will not be realised nor will a financial reimbursement take place.
Payment and delivery of the Crit'Air Vignette
Payment of an ordered Crit'Air Vignette can exclusively be made by credit card or in advance. Delivery of the Crit'Air Vignette will last a little bit longer in case of payment in advance.
If your order for a Crit'Air Vignette reaches us between Monday and Friday until 1 pm, you have the option that your order will be processed “express” on the same day. You will receive the invoice of your order exclusively as a pdf document directly after your payment procedure.
Delivery of the Crit'Air Vignette will be made to the address indicated in the vehicle registration document usually within 5-7 days by post. An express treatment of your order shortens the delivery time for approximately 2 days.

Necessary data to order a Crit'Air Vignette
If you want to order a Crit'Air Vignette, we need the following data from you:
name, first name, street, house number, postal code, town, and country. Furthermore is needed the registration number (numéro de formule) of your French vehicle registration document (carte grise/ Certificat d'immatriculation).
Moreover we need in the course of the ordering process your e-mail address, the vehicle registration number of your car, the approval date of your car as well as the type (passenger car, truck, commercial car, bus, motorcycle, lightweight vehicle).
You don't have to send us your vehicle registration document nor do you have to upload it because we will check your claim for a Crit'Air Vignette exclusively by your registration number (numéro de formule) and your personal data which, consequently, will of course have to be correct.
Instruction about wrong and incomplete data input
All necessary data for an order have to conform exactly with data of your vehicle registration document (Carte grise). In case of non-receipt of the ordered Crit'Air Vignette due to wrong or incomplete personal data, the purchase price will not be reimbursed.
A dispatch of the Crit'Air Vignette is made only and exclusively to the address specified in the vehicle registration document. If another, a wrong or incomplete address is indicated, intentionally or unintentionally, your Crit'Air Vignette will probably not reach you. We cannot assume liability in such a case, nor will we refund the purchase price.
If your home address has changed and the new address is not yet registered in your vehicle document, you are asked to contact your prefecture first and arrange the modification there. Only then you can order a Crit'Air Vignette.
