Decrease in car traffic in Paris

Since the beginning of the year compared to last year, traffic in Paris has fallen by 6.5%. In February, traffic in the city was 705 vehicles per hour and kilometre, which means 11.4% less than last year at the same period. The decrease is even higher during rush hours. The reasons for this are more expensive car parks, but also the introduction of the Crit'Air Vignette accompanied by more and more frequent checks.
