Air Quality Index Must be Revised and Presented on September 19

The Federation of Air Quality Monitoring Associations (ATMO) is partly responsible for monitoring air quality. The Atmo index, which calculates the concentration of particle matter (PM10), Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3) and Sulphur dioxide (SO2) for agglomerations with more than 100,000 inhabitants, will be improved by next year. The objective of this strengthening is to make air quality assessments more precise and accurate. It should come into force in early 2019.
