Air Pollution: Bulgaria Wants to Accelerate the EU’s Policies

On 1st January 2018, Estonia will be replaced by Bulgaria over the 6-months presidency of the EU Council. Since Sofia’s inhabitants are the most exposed population to high air pollution rates over Europe, the issue will probably be closely deal at the EU level. Initiatives to reduce vehicle emissions, conferences on alternative transportation modes, innovations to improve the air quality… Many projects are already in the pipeline.
