Air pollution: Lille rings the alarm bell

Air quality studies show that 14% of deaths in the greater Lille area are due to air pollution, in particular very fine particles (PM 2.5). The probability of a child developing asthma is also higher (17%) than in the rest of France. However, the city has launched a study to establish an environmental zone, but the conclusions have not yet been drawn.
