A biofuel from grapes

The "Nouvelle Aquitaine" region is experimenting with a new fuel for buses of the Departement Landes: the ED95, made from grape marc. It could even gradually equip the entire regional fleet (250 buses). It has the advantage of emitting 95% less CO2 and 50% less NOx than diesel, according to the company "Raisinor France Alcools", which produces it in the region. Moreover, it does not compete with other land uses, which is often a criticism of other biofuels.
