End of the Pollution Peak in Lille and North of France

Since last week, the Region Hauts-de-France and Lille faced several days of pollution peak. Concerning some cities such as Arras, Dunkirk or Valenciennes, it has already been 4 days since the beginning of April. The driving speed has been decreased by 20km/h, but will it be enough against long-term pollution episodes? These cities could follow Lille’s example and implement driving bans with the Crit’Air Vignette in case of longer episodes. New environmental zones (ZPA) would be more efficient to tackle the overriding of fine-particle emission limits.
