Towards a Reduction in the Circulation of Polluting Vehicles in Paris?

Airparif, the air quality monitoring institute in the Paris agglomeration, has just published a prospective study concerning the implementation of a low emission zone to the scale of the Paris agglomeration. A 25% traffic restriction of the most polluting vehicles would reduce by 91% the number of Ile-de-France residents exposed to levels of pollutants that exceed the regulations. The vehicles concerned by the traffic restrictions would be the unclassified vehicles, and the stickers Crit´Air 5, 4 and 3.
